Missions

The Missions ministry coordinates activities and informs the congregation of opportunities, giving each person a chance to choose those "special missions" that touch their heart.

Missions in Action include

• serving at Abundant Harvest, an ecumenical and community effort to feed Emporia's hungry
• Angel Food Ministries - economical, healthy food for everyone. No applications to fill out, no income qualifications to meet. Just cash and your large cardboard box on set days in the month. Click here for more information.
• Dresses for Dorcas- A ministry of reconciliation providing clothes for those in need. Prayer, fellowship time and sewing instructions are available on Saturdays starting at 9 am.
• Prayer Shawls- Knit or crochet prayer shawls to give to those who need to feel the warm presence of God.
